Feasa LED Spectrometer

Absolute, traceable LED colour and intensity measurement — the reference standard for your production line

The Feasa LED Spectrometer delivers absolute, traceable measurements of LED colour and intensity in a compact, robust design suited to both laboratory and production environments. Operating across 380–780nm with on-board firmware for automatic colour calculation, it generates the golden reference data your LED Analyser production setups need — and transfers values seamlessly across the entire Feasa analyser range.

Feasa LED Spectrometer

Overview

Absolute measurement units are essential for accurate LED testing in industries where consistent, traceable results are a quality requirement. Traditional spectrometers often fall short — laboratory-only designs, complex operation, and calibration using a single bulb source that doesn't represent real LED behaviour. The Feasa LED Spectrometer was designed to address exactly these limitations.

The Feasa LED Spectrometer S2 delivers traceable measurements in a practical, compact and robust format ideal for desktop and production use. Crucially, Feasa's manufacturing calibration process uses a range of LEDs — not just a single bulb — making it far better suited to real-world LED measurement than traditional instruments. With a spectral range of 380–780nm, 0.1nm wavelength resolution and integration times from 10µs to 4 seconds, it handles everything from rapid production screening to detailed laboratory characterisation.

The Spectrometer is specifically designed for testing LEDs on populated PCBs where access is limited. On-board firmware calculates colour automatically in multiple colour spaces, using the same simple command structure as the Feasa LED Analyser. Values transfer directly to Feasa LED Analysers to validate production calibration. Three adapter families extend its capability — Miniature Integrating Spheres (Luminous Flux in Lumens), Luminous Intensity Heads (Candela) and Luminance Heads (cd/m², for automotive displays) — all using FP02 armoured patch cords. Multiple Spectrometers can be Daisy Chained, with PWM capture, sequence capture (up to 450 measurements) and external trigger input supported.

The reference standard. Trusted globally.

Absolute, traceable measurements

Measures in real physical units — Lumens, Candela, cd/m², Watts — calibrated relative to a traceable standard. ±0.005 CIE xy chromaticity accuracy. Calibrated using a range of LEDs, not just a bulb, ensuring the calibration reflects real-world LED behaviour.

380–780nm full visible spectrum

Full spectral range from UV-edge to near-IR with 0.1nm minimum wavelength step. Integration time 10µs to 4 seconds with automatic exposure control and range selection built-in. Ideal for RGB LEDs, colour mixing and white LED characterisation.

Compatible with all Feasa LED Analysers

Transfer measurements directly to any Feasa LED Analyser to create golden reference boards and calibrate production setups. Uses the same command structure as the Feasa LED Analyser, minimising integration effort. Daisy Chain for multiple units from a single port.
