LED Life Tester

Feasa LED Life Tester

Continuous LED monitoring from −65°C to +125°C

The Feasa LED Life Tester is purpose-built for accelerated life testing and continuous monitoring of LEDs across extreme temperatures. The analyser sits outside the oven while specially selected glass fibres and high-temperature optical heads deliver real-time colour and intensity data throughout the full thermal cycle.

Feasa LED Life Tester

Overview

The Feasa LED Life Tester enables accelerated life testing and continuous monitoring of LEDs through extreme temperature ranges — from −65°C to +125°C. While conventional LED test instruments cannot operate inside a thermal oven, the Life Tester solves this by placing the analyser unit outside the oven and running specially prepared glass optical fibres and high-temperature optical heads inside.

LEDs are monitored continuously during the life test, with colour and intensity data captured at fixed time intervals ranging from every second to multiple hours. All data is saved to disk for later retrieval, graphing and reporting — giving engineers a complete picture of LED performance degradation over time and across temperature extremes.

The tester connects via USB or RS232, supports Daisy Chain for multiple units, and includes Feasa Test Software with automatic email notification on error or test completion.

Built for the long run. Trusted globally.

Extreme temperature range

Specially selected and prepared glass optical fibres and high-temperature optical heads (OH-7LT, OH-17LT) withstand −65°C to +125°C continuously — far beyond the capability of standard plastic optical fibre.

Continuous monitoring

The analyser sits safely outside the oven and monitors LEDs in real time throughout the full thermal cycle. Test intervals configurable from 1 second to multiple hours — no manual intervention required.

Automated reporting and alerts

Feasa Test Software logs all data to disk for graphing, reporting and analysis. Configurable email alerts on error detection or at test sequence completion — ideal for unattended overnight or multi-day runs.
